Abandoned functions do not occupy the "library" function

From Windows 7 all the way through, many users still remember when Microsoft introduced the "Library" feature. In simple terms, it was a virtual folder designed to simplify file management, encouraging users to forget about disk partitions and specific file paths. However, after years of being "educated," we're still used to thinking in terms of C: and D: drives. It's just not realistic to expect people to stop thinking about them entirely.

Well, after some time, Microsoft realized this feature wasn't working as intended. The Library function was gradually disabled starting with Windows 8. But even today, if you right-click on a file or folder and see the "Include in library" option, it might feel a bit outdated or confusing—do you actually use it?

If you're tired of seeing these old options cluttering your right-click menu, there's a quick fix. Press Win+R, type "regedit," and navigate to:

Here, you can safely delete the "Library Location" entry to clean up the menu. This removes that old option permanently.

In addition, other entries under this path may also be unnecessary. For example, "PintoStartScreen" is a common tweak for the Start menu, while "WinRAR" adds options for compressing files. These are often added by third-party software and might not be needed anymore.

The tools are here—how you choose to use them is up to you. If you want a cleaner, more modern right-click experience, this tweak could be exactly what you need.
