Huawei's IPv6 IPTV solution is the first to pass practical verification

Huawei announced an IPv6 IPTV end-to-end solution including IPTV service system, metropolitan area network core router NE5000E, service router NE40E, access network OLT MA5680T, MDU MA5616 & MA5612, ONT HG8245, home gateway HG526 and set-top box EC2108 It has been verified and approved by China Telecom Hunan Changsha Metropolitan Area Network.

China Telecom continued to choose Huawei to build an end-to-end IPv6 IPTV network from the IPTV service management system and IPTV service system to the metropolitan area network and access network, and then to the home gateway and set-top box on the existing network of the Changsha metropolitan network in Hunan. This pilot has also fully verified the FTTH / FTTB network deployment method where the multicast replication point is moved to the OLT and MDU, and the network equipment can meet the needs of future business scale development.
