The growth of the household appliances industry in the first half of the year was significant, but for the second half of the year, the industry believes that the growth momentum of the home appliance market will be insufficient, and the total scale of the entire home appliance market is expected to grow by only 2.4% year-on-year.

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, retail sales of household appliances and audio-visual equipment in China in the first half of the year reached 326.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%.

The leading company has achieved extraordinary results. As of early July, 31 of the 51 household appliance stocks have disclosed 2013 interim results announcements, of which 25 companies had pre-jobs, almost half.

Industry insiders believe that although the home appliance industry still delivered a "not bad" transcript in the first half of the year, it was mainly driven by energy-saving subsidies. In the second half of the year, home appliance companies will undergo a severe test, and the performance in the whole year is likely to be "fairly satisfactory."

Peng Yu, deputy general manager of Beijing Zhongyekang Times Market Research Co., Ltd., believes that the factors that are full of changes in the market in the second half of the year are the end of the policy of saving energy and benefiting the people.
