Tianwei changes bid for 300 million yuan transformer orders

On August 16th, Baoding Tianwei Baochang Electric Co., Ltd. received a bid notification from the State Grid Corporation of China and successfully won the bid for 7 ODFPS-1000MVA/1000kV UHV transformers in the UHV AC transmission and transformation project in North Zhejiang-Fuzhou. In addition, in the second batch of projects of the China Southern Power Grid Company's centralized bidding for power transmission equipment in 2013, Tianwei Power successfully won the bid for one 220kV transformer and eight 110kV transformers, and the total amount of 16 transformers exceeded 300 million yuan.

It is understood that the UHVAC transmission and transformation project in northern Zhejiang and Fuzhou is the third UHV AC project in China after the Jindongnan-Nanyang-Jingmen UHV AC pilot demonstration project and Huainan-Zhebei-Shanghai project, and is also a special feature of China. High-voltage power grids have entered the landmark project of a new phase of accelerated development and scale construction. The project starts at the 1,000kV substation in northern Zhejiang and ends at the 1000kV substation in Fuzhou. The total project investment is about 20 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed and put into production around 2014. After the project is completed, it will greatly increase the power supply capacity of East China Power Grid and meet the future power needs of Fujian Power Grid.
