ZSY-6 Grinding Machine

The ZSY-6 grinding machine is specifically designed for rubber factories and research institutions to grind rubber test pieces to a precise thickness for further testing by other equipment. Usage Instructions

1. Move the small handle to open the knurled eccentric ball, clamp one end of the rubber test piece, then press the other end counterclockwise and align the movable pressure stick along the work wheel.
2. Start the motor and rotate the grinding wheel in the direction indicated on the front panel.
3. Shake the handle to move the upper carriage along the lower rail. The dial is calibrated to 0.02 mm for precise adjustment.
4. The safety device is installed on the handwheel. It can only be turned counterclockwise; turning it clockwise may damage the safety mechanism.
5. Before starting, perform coarse grinding followed by fine grinding to ensure even surface finish.

Maintenance and Care

• If the ground test piece has uneven thickness, check if the grinding wheel’s surface is parallel.
• If the grinding wheel becomes out of round, use a cutter to correct its shape.
• Regularly lubricate the working surface of the pallet to maintain smooth operation.
• Frequently adjust the gap between the nut and the screw for optimal performance.
• Install the machine in a vibration-free environment free from contamination sources.
