ZSY-6 Grinding Machine

The ZSY-6 grinding machine is specifically designed for rubber factories and scientific research institutions to grind test pieces of rubber to a precise thickness, making them suitable for further testing by other equipment. Operating Instructions

1. Move the small handle to open the knurled eccentric ball, clamp one end of the rubber test piece, then press the other end counterclockwise and move the pressure stick along the working wheel.
2. Start the motor and rotate the grinding wheel in the direction indicated on the front panel.
3. Operate the handle to move the upper carriage along the lower rail. The dial is equipped with a precision scale of 0.02 mm.
4. The handwheel is equipped with a safety device that allows only counterclockwise rotation. Forcing it in the opposite direction may damage the safety mechanism.
5. Before starting the grinding process, perform a coarse grind followed by a fine grind to ensure even results.

Maintenance and Care

• If uneven thickness is observed after grinding, check if the grinding wheel surface is parallel.
• If the grinding wheel becomes out of round, use a cutter to correct the flatness.
• Regularly lubricate the working surface of the pallet to maintain smooth operation.
• Adjust the gap between the nut and the screw periodically to prevent misalignment.
• Ensure the machine is installed in a vibration-free environment, free from dust and contaminants.
