Each year, hundreds of millions of fingerprint recognition ICs are produced, driven by the enhanced security and reliability they provide compared to traditional password systems.
With the rapid development of Fintech, electronic payment and mobile payment solutions have become central to modern life. Platforms such as Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay, Line Pay, Huawei Pay, Mi Pay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay are all competing fiercely in the market. This trend has further boosted the demand for secure and accurate fingerprint recognition ICs.
Fingerprint recognition ICs must process very small fingerprint signals, requiring advanced sensor IC technologies to ensure precision. Especially in environments where glitch noise is common, the need for high accuracy and sensitivity becomes even more critical. Additionally, these components must withstand electrostatic surges from the human body, which adds complexity to their design and manufacturing.

This year, the company has seen significant improvements in product performance, with shipments increasing steadily month by month.
Jingyu has accumulated a number of self-developed patents and is now producing bidirectional ESD protection components specifically designed for fingerprint sensors. These components meet the strict space requirements of SiP modules used in fingerprint identification systems. According to the company’s management, shipments are expected to continue growing in the second half of the year, and revenue will reflect this upward trend.
