Nokia has developed a smart watch before Apple, but it was cut off by Microsoft.

On the morning of November 17th, Nokia’s unreleased smart watch display video exposure. From the exposure video, Microsoft is wise to cut off the smart watch project when it acquired Nokia's mobile division.

The Nokia smartwatch prototype in the video is the popular smart watch style in 2014. Nokia showed the device at the Mobile World Congress of the year, and in the same year, Google released the Android Wear smart watch platform, which is much more than 2015. The Apple Smart Watch is expected to come out one year ahead of schedule. After that, billions of dollars broke into the smart watch market.

Rectangular watch code-named Moonraker

The rectangular watch, code-named Moonraker, offers some "smart" features such as notifications and step counters, and built-in Facebook, but more features may still be planned.

The device comes with an NFC logo, which means it can have an electronic payment function (Microsoft has not yet completed this development). Moonraker's plastic wristbands indicate that Nokia is trying to attract a wider market. But today there is no real market in this market. IDC announced last month that smartwatch shipments fell 51.6% in the most recent quarter.

Later, Microsoft stopped the Moonraker project and replaced it with a high-end fitness wearable device, but it was not good.

Moonraker's details first appeared in the Tumblr blog picture of Microsoft employees last year, but have been deleted. The video in this article comes from a Nokia mobile phone fan site called Nokibar in China. (Small)
