The round was led by Temasek, with Credit Suisse, CDIB, and IDG also participating. According to sources, the total funding reached nearly $100 million. Temasek, the lead investor, was established in 1974 and is a private holding company regulated by Singapore’s Ministry of Finance. It holds shares in 36 national development banks, including the Singapore Development Bank, with an investment value of approximately S$345 million (around RMB 1.6 billion or over $70 million). In addition to IDG, which has been a long-time shareholder, the other three investors—Credit Suisse and CDIB—are new entrants. This marks the first time that Credit Suisse and CDIB have invested in the domestic AI sector. Founded in 2014, Rokid was co-founded by Misa, who previously led the Ali M Studio. The company focuses on intelligent hardware centered around AI-driven human-machine interaction.
