1, LED forward voltage

Different color LEDs have different forward voltage drop values ​​under rated forward current conditions.

1, red, yellow: 1.8 ~ 2.5V;

2. Green and blue: 2.7~4.0V.

For LEDs of the same color, the forward chat and light intensity are not exactly the same.

LEDs with the same forward voltage and low light intensity range under rated current conditions should be used in the same circuit. Only in this way can the LED's luminous effect be consistent. The specific electrical performance parameters can refer to the product spectral parameter label values ​​provided by each package factory (some companies have inconsistent batch sorting).

2, LED rated current

The rated current of LEDs is different. The rated current of ordinary LEDs is generally 20mA, and the rated current of high-power LEDs is generally 40mA or 350ma. Generally, the LED has a reverse current IR<=10 ua under the condition of a reverse voltage VR=5V.

3, LED power

LED power is also different, there are 70mW, 100mW, 1W, 2W, 3W, 5W, etc., so according to the selected LED, the temple should use the circuit reasonably and configure the appropriate number of LEDs to fully satisfy the LED power supply. Rating. If the circuit is designed to make each LED share voltage or current too high, it will seriously affect the service life of the LED or even burn the LED. If the voltage or current shared is too low, the intensity of the excited LED is not enough, and the effect that the LED should have is not fully utilized, which does not achieve the desired effect of the designer.
