Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City invests 14 trillion VND to implement wire and cable projects

According to the report of Vietnam’s “People’s Daily” on June 17, on the 16th, Ho Chi Minh City Electric Power Corporation began implementing the proposal for the laying of wires, cables and communication cables in the city from 2011 to 2020. According to the proposal, the total investment will exceed 14 trillion VND for the wire and cable with a total length of 2,240 kilometers. Among them, 2011-2015 will complete the underground work of 930 kilometers of wires and cables for the first, three counties and 141 neighborhoods. In 2016, the work of wire and cable buried in the streets of the other counties and counties will be completed. Investment funds will use ODA assistance, long-term preferential loans and other financing channels.
