Creating a library To create a library, do the following:
In the SIMATIC Manager, select the menu command File > New.
Select the "Library" tab If you wish to insert a new library into a multiproject, select the checkbox "Insert the current multiproject". The check box is only available if multiple items have been pre-selected in the project window.

Copying a partial library If you want to copy some libraries, such as software, blocks, etc., you can do the following:
Select the part of the library you wish to copy.
Select the menu command Edit > Copy in the SIMATIC Manager.
Select the folder in which the copied partial library will be stored.
Select the menu command Edit > Paste.
Deleting a library To delete a library, proceed as follows:
Select the menu command File > Delete in the SIMATIC Manager.
In the "Delete" dialog, activate the option button "Library". The library is listed in the list box below.
Select the library you wish to delete and click "OK" to confirm.
Click "Yes" to confirm the prompt.
To delete a part of the library to delete part of the library, you can do the following:
Select some of the libraries you want to delete.
Select the menu command Edit > Delete in the SIMATIC Manager.
Click "Yes" to confirm the prompt.
