The company aims to create a comprehensive smart and healthy lifestyle, from grocery shopping to food storage, ensuring that every meal is as fresh and nutritious as possible. By transforming the refrigerator into a "health insurance library," TCL is positioning itself as a leader in smart home appliances focused on user health and convenience.
The "Wind-Cooled +" technology represents a significant step forward in freshness preservation. Starting with the introduction of negative oxygen ion (AAT) fresh-keeping technology in 2015, TCL has continuously evolved its cooling systems. In 2016, the company launched the first double-conversion air-cooled refrigerator, followed by the global release of the integrated variable frequency air-cooled model in 2017. Now, with the 2018 "Wind-Cooled +" strategy, TCL has taken this innovation even further, ensuring ingredients stay fresh and natural throughout the entire storage process.
TCL's integrated frequency air-cooled refrigerator features advanced technologies such as intelligent air-cooling, frost-free design, and rapid cooling. It can cool down 1°C in just two minutes, locking in freshness and maintaining optimal conditions for different types of food. With AAT negative oxygen ion technology, it offers 360-degree cleaning, deodorization, and sterilization, ensuring fruits and vegetables retain over 90% of their moisture after seven days. The refrigerator also includes specialized zones like a 3°C maternal area, a fish meat thermostat lock, and a red wine and tea storage section, making it more professional and user-friendly.
In addition to freshness, health is a core focus of TCL's innovations. Refrigerators are not just storage units but essential tools for family safety. Studies show that there are over 80 types of bacteria inside refrigerators, some of which can cause serious illnesses. To address this, TCL has introduced a comprehensive health protection system. Inside, the AAT smart sterilization system actively removes up to 91.17% of E. coli. On the outside, antibacterial door seals and handles prevent mold and bacterial growth, offering 99% effectiveness against harmful bacteria like E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
TCL plans to expand the use of these technologies across its product line. By 2018, the AAT system will be available in over 250L models, and all new products will come with antibacterial door seals and handles. By 2020, the company aims to have 70% of its refrigerators classified as "healthy" models.
