The scope of the “Reciprocal Sharing License Agreement” covers the “white light” and packaging patent rights of the two companies, and the patent rights are related to “white light” and “visible” LED environmental lighting technology. Under the agreement, Seoul Semiconductor and OSRAM GmbH will work together to form strategic partners and leverage each other's strengths to strengthen their capabilities. Seoul Semiconductor Chief Executive Li Yixun said: "This is a reciprocal sharing agreement that lays a good foundation for our closer cooperation in the future.

According to the agreement, the two parties can not only raise objections to the patent rights of the other parties' "white light" and "visible" LED environmental protection lighting technologies, but also work together to jointly safeguard these mutually beneficial patent rights. In addition, the agreement will help Seoul Semiconductor to further establish its global leadership in the high-brightness and energy-efficient LED environmental lighting technology market.
