NVC Lighting and GE cooperation is just the beginning of expansion

Recently, in the financial pages of major domestic portal websites, the Shanghai alliance of Guangdong Huizhou NVC Lighting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NVC) and GE (General Electric) has become a news with high click-through rate. On August 1, 2007, NVC officially became the general agent of GE's light source and electrical products sales channels in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan).

As the largest lighting product operator and commercial product champion in China, NVC's cooperation with GE Consumer and Industrial Products Group has made the first of the most powerful enterprises in China's lighting industry and the world's most influential electrical group. Handshake has a profound impact on the entire industry.
According to NVC President Wu Changjiang, "Strategic cooperation with GE is a deep level of cooperation." In addition to the sales of GE Lighting in China, NVC will also process GE export lamps. In the future, the two sides will jointly invest in some areas of lighting. Wu Changjiang said: "This is just the beginning of our expansion plan."
NVC's "World Brand" dreams of this cooperation, NVC also intends to use GE's sales channels abroad to expand the overseas market often "create a world brand, the first in the industry", Wu Changjiang founded NVC in the early stage to set such a goal. Different from other companies, NVC has formulated a detailed strategic plan from the date of setting the target, and unswervingly follow the goal.
In early 2006, NVC began to set up an overseas marketing system and officially launched global marketing with “NVC NVC Lighting” (own brand). Copying the successful sales model of the store and operation center makes “NVC NVC Lighting” (independent brand) soon spread in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, Russia and some European countries. In Europe, NVC just acquired a lighting company in the UK at the end of July this year, intending to use the latter's channels and customer resources to vigorously enter the overseas market. More than 90% of the enterprises in the Chinese lighting industry rely on OEM (OEM) business channels. In the export market, NVC resolutely promoted "NVC NVC Lighting" (independent brand) in overseas markets, in order to let the world see China's lighting products.
To this end, NVC has gathered a group of top talents with rich experience in the international market. Zhang Qingyu, general manager of NVC's overseas business department - former director of logistics and sales director of Philips Lighting (China Co., Ltd.), said that he joined the NVC reason: "I have been in Philips for 11 years and have been helping foreign brands to occupy China. Nowadays, what we want to do is to promote the Chinese brand of NVC NVC to the international market."

Billion road

Wu Changjiang, who established NVC in 1999, made a pledge from the first day: "Our medium-term goal is to reach an annual output value of 5 billion yuan by 2008 and 10 billion yuan by 2010." In a word, the whole industry was shocked, and some people called him "mad."

After a series of figures, people are overwhelmed: the average annual growth rate is above 80%, four times the average speed of the industry; in 2006, NVC sales exceeded 1.5 billion yuan; in 2007, NVC sales directly pointed to 3 billion yuan... The most prosperous emerging company in the lighting industry, NVC's extraordinary rise, triggered the exclamation of "NVC speed" outside the industry.
At present, NVC Lighting has become the leader in the domestic commercial lighting market. With the completion of the three major industrial parks in China, Wu Changjiang is thinking about how to continue to maintain a strong momentum on the “Billion Road”.
Targeting the New York Stock Exchange
In April 2006, Softbank International focused on NVC; in July, the first $22 million in venture capital was in place. For Softbank, which has always focused on IT and high-tech industries, this is the first time that it has invested in traditional manufacturing industries in China. Since then, NVC's overseas listing work is also accelerating. According to Wu Changjiang, NVC has obtained approval from the relevant state departments to allow it to list overseas. At present, it is still negotiating further financing with several influential banks.
"The cooperation with international giants such as Softbank and GE will accelerate our internationalization process. We have set the target for the listing as the NYSE and start the timetable - the fastest time to complete the listing next year." Wu Changjiang said with a smile.
